Jurek Owsiak, conductor of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, gave the signal and the 32nd Grand Finale officially began.

People often decide to donate pieces of jewellery, engagement rings and wedding bands. All these items have a significant sentimental value and they are carefully melted by the National Mint of Poland to create priceless golden pins, which are then auctioned off by the Collection Centres locally and at the studio on the day of the Grand Finale.
The auction consists of two parts: first begins early in the morning during the first live transmission from the studio at 8:30. The final of the auctions begins at 11 PM and it is one of the most popular moments of the day-long telethon. Only the 3 highest bidders are invited to take part in the final of this charitable rivalry!
Millions of viewers tune in to watch the broadcast on TV and online. The entire sum fetched by the Golden Hearts and Golden Cards goes towards the aim of the Grand Finale - to purchase medical equipment to ensure that all babies born in Poland have equal access to medical care.
Golden Heart - 26th Grand Finale
Each heart, made from gold we have received from our donors at last year's Grand Finale charitable collection. Each little hear pin bears an individual number: hearts 88-99 have been sent to the Collection Centres to be auctioned off locally. Numbers 16 and 100 will be auctioned by Antyradio and online, on aukcje.wosp.org.pl, respectively. The remaining pendants are up for grabs!
Golden Cards - 26th Grand Finale
Our friends from PLAY have gifted us with 100 gold-plated SIM cards. These exquisite pieces of technology will also be auctioned off during the Grand Finale telethon - live on air!
The parties willing to take part in the auction need to register online at www.licytacja.wosp.org.pl. The page will be launched on the day of the Grand Finale. You will be also able to bid via the phone and via video chat. The auction is open to everyone, individuals and companies alike. However, if you would like to offer a sum over 15 000 PLN (for a Golden Heart) and 8000 PLN (for a Golden SIM Card) please be prepared to verify your credit card and identity using PayU system.

The 32nd Grand Finale - we're ready!
Months of preparation, thousands of events around the world and hundreds of thousands of people involved. The 32nd Finale of GOCC is just around the corner!
