Give blood at Woodstock Festival Poland

The festival blood drive will last for the duration of the festival, beginning on August the 2nd and ending on August the 5th. The blood stations, located on Milenijna Alley 14, will be open from 9 am until 5 pm. 

If you want to join this valiant drive, we can walk you through the entire process. First of all, please remember to put aside ample time for the visit at the festival blood center. 

• You should be healthy, rested and after a light, but nutricious meal. You can't be under the influence of alcohol! It means that you should abstain from drinking 24 hours prior to giving blood. 
• However, you should drink a lot of other liquids - drinking 1.5 - 2 liters of water or juice is recommended before you donate blood! 
• You should have a valid photo ID with you. 
• The first step is online registration in national blood donors database. 
• Then, you will have to fill in a detailed questionnaire. Provide full, honest answers about your health, medical history, and medication you take because it is essential that doctors and nurses have a complete picture of your health. Any medication you take might influence your status as a blood donor! 
• Next, a nurse will take a sample of your blood for testing. 
• Time to speak with the doctor. You will discuss your results and talk about your questionnaire. You will also be examined and the doctor will decide if you are fit to donate blood. 
• If you have been greenlit to donate, you will have to spend 10 more minutes in the blood center. Please, take into account that the entire process might take up to an hour.
