Today, 7 April, we celebrate the World Health Day! A matter of top priority to our GOCC Foundation. For over 30 years, we have been acting to support the public healthcare system – we purchase medical equipment for hospitals and run nationwide medical programmes. And we strongly encourage you to look after your health every day!
World Health Day was initiated by the First World Health Assembly of the World Health Organization in 1948. The aim was to draw public's attention to the health problems which we are facing in our society.
From day 1, the goal of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation has always been the to improve the healthcare system in the country. We organize annual fundraisers, hold Open Tenders during which we buy medical equipment for Polish hospitals, run medical programmes in Poland, and engage in other healthcare-related activities. We make every effort to encourage you to stay healthy in a healthy world!
In 31 Grand Finales, we have raised nearly PLN 2 bln and purchased over 70,400 devices.
