GOCC helps in fight against floods

In response to the natural disaster in Poland, the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation is allocating PLN 40 million for the purchase of first aid supplies.

 
Our Foundation organised the “Stop Floods!" campaign in 2010 supporting the firefighters, who were first responders on the scene of catastrophic floods, which affected southern Poland. photo: Łukasz Widziszowski 
 
 

We have made our appeal to the Crisis Management Centre and declared our readiness to assist. Should the need arise, we are also prepared to launch a fundraising campaign for this cause.

An orange crowd of runners hit the streets of Warsaw

For the eighteenth time, Jurek Owsiak, this time from the final stage on the PGE Narodowy meadows in Warsaw, opened the joyful run under the same slogan "Get Even with Diabetes". Crowds of running enthusiasts, after a five-kilometre route through the streets of Warsaw, will reach the finish line located in the same place.

Winning the uneven fight against sepsis

The fight against sepsis was the main aim of the 31st Grand Finale fundraiser which ended with over PLN 243 million raised. In less than a year, we have organized two Open Tenders to purchase medical equipment for microbiological laboratories across the country.
