Peace Patrol volunteers often say that taking part in the training course at Szadowo-Młyn has changed their lives and marks the beginning of a great adventure among a huge group of new friends, united by a common goal. Those are the people who take matters into their own hands, who enjoy being active and working for the common good. Peace Patrol volunteers engage in activities outside of events organized by the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation, such as the Grand Finale charitable fundraising drive, Pol'and'Rock Festival, CPR for Schools initiative and many other projects.
Three-day training, which takes place in Szadowo-Młyn, a village located in the vicinity of Kwidzyn and Malbork. The trainees will learn first aid and CPR from qualified AHA instructors and will take part in survival tasks and activities which will ensure that they are ready to work as a team in difficult circumstances and in a difficult environment. The trainees will also be instructed on the laws and regulations concerning mass events and festivals in Poland.
