Our charity not only supplies medical devices to hospitals in Ukraine but also provides medical devices to hospitals in Poland, in particular to locations which treat patients escaping the war in Ukraine. Przemyśl, which is the town on the border between Poland and Ukraine has been struggling with the influx of patients since the beginning of the war.
The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation has teamed up with the Warsaw city council to establish a temporary shelter for Ukrainians escaping the war in their native country.
We continue to support Ukrainians fleeing the war and one of the ways in which we help refugees in Poland is by equipping Polish hospitals, which admit and treat patients from Ukraine. Our charity bought and donated equipment for 15 towns in the country.

We are 28 years young! The official paperwork to register the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation was filed exactly 28 years ago. The charity was established just two months after the first Grand Finale, which took place on January 3rd. 1993.
Each year, at the very stroke of midnight on the day of the Grand Finale we announce the preliminary result of our fundraiser. The result is an estimate based on reports we receive from local Collection Centres, preliminary results from online auctions and internet fundraisers.

The upper house of the Polish parliament will host a debate on children's mental health services on October 21st. Our charity will join forces with the Senate to find the solution to the problems which plight children's psychiatric care in Poland
A brand new roundabout in Gorzów Wielkopolski has been officially named after our charity. We are delighted, especially because the town is located in the vicinity of Kostrzyn nad Odrą, where we host our festival.
The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity bought equipment for four laboratories testing coronavirus samples. Lab equipment worth almost PLN 10.5 million (over EUR 2 300 000) will be donated to laboratories in Warsaw, Łódź, and Poznań. This latest commitment takes the purchases in aid of COVID-19 Relief to PLN 50 million.
The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation was able to secure the purchase of 37 ventilators for hospitals treating COVID-19 patients in Poland. The equipment was purchased for almost PLN 2 500 000 (EUR 540 000).
