Jurek Owsiak has announced the date and medical objective of the annual winter fundraiser. The Grand Finale will take place on January the 14th, 2018. The fundraiser will be aimed at making sure that all babies born in Poland have equal access to modern medical care.
The team representing the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation has visited the hospital in Biała Podlaska, where they were especially impressed with the local initiative of "home hospital" - a unique medical facility, which makes patients feel at home and even makes it possible for them to receive medical care in their homes.
264 pieces of equipment - ranging from heavy-duty chainsaws and professional first aid equipment to power generators and powerful mud pumps - have been donated to 178 volunteer fire departments across Poland.
Thank you for choosing our charity as the recipient of 1% of your annual tax return. In total, we have received donations amounting to over 7 million PLN, which will go toward buying cars and medical equipment for children's hospices.
We are donating gear and medical equipment to 178 volunteer fire departments. The equipment is worth 1,5 million PLN and we will be gifting 264 pieces of specialist equipment to volunteers and people who are the first to respond and help their communities.

This Warsaw hospital is one of the most modern medical centres in the country. Our Foundation supported this children's clinic from the very start, and the overall worth of equipment donated to this hospital amounts to over 18 million PLN!
